Applying to become an incubatee is a straightforward five-step process (click on each step to see instructions):

2: Complete and return the submission template (click to view)

Please return hard copies of the completed document and an electronic copy to the addresses as set out below, along with a copy of your passport and any supporting documentation.

3: Tender Opening Board (TOB) review (click to view)
Once received, the Tender Opening Board (TOB) will review your application first to ensure that you meet the criteria of the ESA BIC before being formally considered. If you are accepted by the TOB, you will be invited to attend the Tender Evaluation Board (TEB) which will be held approximately two weeks after the submission deadline
4: Tender Evaluation Board (TEB) (click to view)
At the TEB, you will be required to give a 25 minute presentation, followed by 30 minutes of questions and answers with the board. The TEB will then submit their recommendations to the ESA Award Board for final decision
5: Invitation to contract negotiation (click to view)
You will be advised of the decision up to three weeks after the TEB has submitted its recommendations. If you are successful, you will be invited to attend a contracts negotiation meeting with you ESA Contracts Officer and your ESA BIC Support Manager
 
Your complete proposal and all supporting documents are to be submitted, in electronic form (.pdf and .doc), by email to the address
