Other Business Incubation Centres

The ESA Business Incubation Centres (ESA BICs) are one of the cornerstones of the Agency’s Technology Transfer Programme Office (TTPO). As part of its endeavour to encourage the transfer and commercialisation of space technologies, ESA BICs have been set up all over Europe.

The locations of the other ESA Business Incubation Centres are:

• ESA BIC Noordwijk (link opens in a new window)- basedin Noordwijk, the Netherlands
• ESA BIC Darmstadt (link opens in a new window)- based in Darmstadt, Germany
• ESA BIC Bavaria (link opens in a new window)- based in Oberpfaffenhofen, Nürnberg and Berchtesgadener, Germany
• ESA BIC Lazio (link opens in a new window)- based near Rome, Italy 
• ESA BIC Redu (link opens in a new window)- based in Transinne-Libin, Belgium
• ESA BIC Flanders (link opens in a new window)- based in Geel and Mol, Belgium 

The centres support selected entrepreneurs with comprehensive commercial and technical assistance to help them start up businesses that use space technology in non-space industrial, scientific and commercial fields.
