ESA Technology Transfer Programme Office (TTPO)
The TTPO's main mission is to facilitate the use of space technology and space systems for non-space applications, to demonstrate the benefit of the European space programme to European citizens and to strengthen the competitiveness of European industry.
The office is responsible for defining the overall approach and strategy for the transfer of space technologies, in three key ways: The Investment Readiness Programme, a bi-yearly event providing entrepreneurs with an insight of an investor’s perspective; Business Incubation Centers (BICs), supporting high-tech start-up companies transfer space technology into non-space applications; and the Technology Transfer Network(TTN).
STFC Innovations Limited manages the TTN in the UK, and is the only organisation to manage both the Technology Transfer Network, and Business Incubation Centre.
